Served as sports medicine doctor, covering the athletic events.

Research Assistant. Participated in Genzyme Tissue Repair Carticel Project. Looked at autologous cartilage grafts and the ability to regrow articular cartilage in patients.

Harvard University Biology Department
Independent Investigator. Examined differences in the shoulder joint range of motion among pitchers, athletes, and non-athletes.

Cornell Department of Plant Breeding
Lab Technician. Worked with over forty scientists on the Tomato Genome Project. Performed DNA extractions, RFLP mapping, PCR techniques, and other laboratory procedures.

Participated in program organized and run by Jefferson Medical College Students. Provided medical care to a variety of homeless shelters and free clinics in Philadelphia.

Massachusetss General Hospital
Worked with Dr. Arthur Boland, Orthopedic surgeon. Examined patients and observed surgeries in the operating room.

University Lutheran Church Homeless Shelter
Cooked and served breakfasts for homeless citizens of Cambridge, MA. Also did various odd jobs at the shelter including washing linens, cleaning dishes, and mopping floors.

Catholic Student Association
Helped to organize a variety of charitable events from spaghetti dinners, canned food drives, and clothing drives to benefit the homeless. Served as the chairperson and cook of the spaghetti dinners for the homeless.
